Hey friends!

This January, me and my wonderful best friend/roommate are going on tour in the Northeast. I will be performing songs from a solo record I am in the midst of recording.

The aim of this tour is to be about more than just music and to be a collective artistic event for each stop, and thus along with my songs, Lauren will have prints and artwork being showcased and sold at each show.

We hope you come out, sing along, let us crash on your couch, etc. We are making this event page early in order to book and solidify all of the shows now,

*if you live in any of these places and can help book us, please let me know!* connorgriffin4@gmail.com

DATES:

January 2nd- CT (Tour kickoff)

January 3rd- MA

January 4th- NH or VT

January 5th- Portland, Maine

January 6th- CT

We are all Carly Beth regretting our masks- Connor Griffin

I haven’t written a lot of new music since The Anarchist Pizza Society ended that I have thought was worth while, but this song is the start of some new things I am working on that I am really pouring myself into. I would really appreciate you taking the time to listen and re-blog it, steal it, show yer dad, cry to it, whatever it may be. The lyrics are posted below for those who are into that. Thanks

Everyone I know is struggling

fighting,

killing ourselves.

Just to live until tomorrow…

Oh, the irony is killing me.

Living to remember,

drinking to forget.

Oh how we change

like the leaves on the trees.

Midnight smokes,

and early morning drinks,

and a cold that seeps in our bones.

Show your teeth, hide your heart, and burn it all to the ground.

Folk Punk Is Dead and So are We!

After 2 years, a full length, multiple split releases and EPs, and a short tour…. we are calling it quits.

It is too tiresome to put the energy into a creative machine that just wont start and just wont move anymore. I am proud of the things we were able to create and accomplish, and am so so grateful for the fans that we have and the people who have truly appreciated this band!

This is not goodbye forever…just see ya later.

we will pop up again I am sure in one form or another!

until then check out some other projects we are involved in:

Pizza Forever!

-The Anarchist Pizza Society

The Anarchist Pizza Society- Two Ships (new version) live @ Bare Bones

TAPS is probably done for a while, or at least in this incarnation… folk punk  is dead and so are we.

However, I re-worked an old song I wrote for our first album called “Two Ships”, this is that new version played live.

I am very proud of this song and its meaning to me..

Someone made it rain during our set and we played Cute Without The E (Cut From The Team)……if this was the last show of this incarnation of The Anarchist Pizza Society then it was one hell of a way to end it.
